Training with EAC

We have qualified coaches and training for athletes from 9 year olds to over 60s spanning all disciplines from pole vault and long jump, hammer and hurdles to sprinters and marathoners. We have club nights at Meadowbank as well as sessions in the Meadows and Saughton track.. Below are the main sessions available throughout the year. The programmes are focused on preparing athletes for our featured competitions.

Track & Field - Meadowbank

The club has indoor and outdoor training sessions at Meadowbank Stadium for all ages and disciplines

Tuesday: 18:00-20:00
Wednesday: 18:00 - 20:00 (indoor only)
Thursday: 18:00 - 20:00

Senior Endurance Running

These sessions are aimed at Seniors and Masters who wish to compete at Cross Country, Road, Trail and Fell Racing

Tuesday (Meadows Park): 18:30 - 20:00
Tuesday (Saughton Track): 17:45 - 19:30
Thursday (Meadows Park): 1900 - 20:00
Saturday (Meadows Park) 10:00 - 11:30

Middle Distance

Our middle distance coaches offer a full range of training opportunities for athletes from age 9 to Senior.  We welcome enquires from all athletes interested in competing in this discipline and will seek to accommodate athletes of a wide range of abilities.
