SNAL Match 3
Thanks to the athletes, who represented the club in the SNAL Match at Grangemouth on Sunday. After 3 matches EAC are currently lying in 3rd place behind leaders VPCOG and Aberdeen. With some fine performances and PBs the U17, U20 and Senior men came top in all 3 categories and one of the highlights was a legal 7.87 from Stephen McKenzie, only 2 centimetres short of the Commonwealth Games qualifying standard.
The Final match is on Sunday 27th July at Grangemouth so look out for the google form to secure a place on the team. We are particularly short in the Women's U17 and U20 age groups so take advantage of the "free" competition to record a PB. It's what you train for!!

Stephen Mackenzie - Long jump - 7m 87 which was only 2cm's short of the Commonwealth Games qualifying standard
Nikki Manson - Long Jump - 6m 30 which was the furthest by a Scottish female athlete for 6 years.
Dylan McCulloch - 400m - 47.89 - was selected for the GB&NI U20 team to compete in Mannheim the next day.
