Close to 100 Scottish clubs were represented at one or more of Scottish Athletics three National Championship events over the winter.
And Edinburgh topped the lot in our three tier league system to reclaim the Lindsays Trophy – 11 years after our first win back in 2015.
EAC tallied 211 finishers at Cumbernauld, Lanark and Falkirk to win by 17 athletes from runners-up, and holders, Giffnock North (194). Garscube Harriers, Tier One winners in 2024, took third place (176).
Those three clubs were well clear of the rest with the Tier One top five completed by Glasgow Uni Hares and Hounds and Cambuslang Harriers.

Eilish McColgan, also supported for many years by sponsorship from Lindsays, presented the first Lindsays Trophy to Edinburgh AC in 2015. This time, GB international Megan Keith – 10th in the Women’s 10,000m at the World Champs last summer – was on hand at Meadowbank for the presentation and photos.
