Jessica Taylor had a very busy but successful weekend

Competing in the GB European Championships U20 Uphill Selection Trial in Keswick. Jess finished first, over a minute ahead of the second placed runner.
Jess will now head to Slovenia for the European Championships in June.

She is also competed in the Up and Down trial the nxt day in Sedburgh.

Following on from her Uphill win in Keswick, Jess doubled up in Sedburgh winning the U20 UKA Trial for the European Off-Road Running Championships (5.8km, 390m ascent) .

She now gets to race twice for GB &NI in Slovenia. Not sure if that’s good or bad!

Congratulations Jessica from all at Edinburgh AC, glad all the hard work you have put in has gone well.

Also competing for Scotland East in the GB European Uphill Trial, was Nancy Scott who finished 4th in the Senior Womens Race, giving her hope of selection to the team. Well done to Nancy
