Awards for Brian, Jake and Moira

They were all deservedly award winners at the Scottish Annual Award Dinner in Glasgow.

Jake Wightman, 4J Athlete of the Year: With a fantastic come back after a year of injuries, Jake put himself back on central stage with a Silver Medal in the 1500m at the World Championships in Tokyo

Brian Nisbet, Volunteer of the Year: Brian has been involved with the Club for over 22 years, among the many volunteering roles he has held with the Club and Scottish Athletics are, Membership Secretary, Welfare Secretary, Member of the Board of Trustees, Meadowbank Sub-Committee Member, Field Official and Timekeeper

Moira Nisbet, Raymond Huchison award for Services to Officiating: Moira is a level 4 Field Official and is currently Head of Field Officials for the Scottish Athletics Officials Commission, as well as supporting the Club by organizing and setting up  the Track and Filed meetings we compete in, Moira Is also involved at International level as a Field Judge and Field Referee.
